Idaho Design Build is an outreach studio within the Architecture Department at the University of Idaho. We are committed to helping local organizations, institutions, and businesses with unique projects. We work with these partners to provide sponsored research, design, and construction. We deliver creative and cost-effective solutions for our community.

Idaho Design Build is a community outreach studio in the Architecture Department at the University of Idaho. We partner on unique projects that fill community needs, provide research opportunities to students and faculty, and which could not be realized without the design and construction efforts of the studio.
Founded in 2018, we have worked on a wide variety of projects, including adaptive reuse in historic structures, additions and renovations of public, commercial and non-profit spaces, as well as new construction in challenging environments. In each case, we approach these projects with a professional, critical, research-oriented, and collaborative outlook.
