Scott Lawrence is an Associate Professor of Architecture and Director of Idaho Design Build at the University of Idaho. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver, and Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder. His professional creative work in restaurant design (as a founding partner of the architectural practice Nguyen Lawrence) has been recognized for its excellence. He is also the co-founder of the not-for-profit educational organization, Immersion Workshop.

Professor Lawrence’s academic research is focused on critical questions surrounding the context(s) of architecture, design-build as a means of critical inquiry, and hospitality design.
